4 Days / 3 Night Safari
OPTION ONE: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Start from Arusha or Moshi to Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park for game drives. Later in the evening, spend the night at the camp/lodge at Lake Manyara or Karatu area, depending on the choice of the camp or lodge.
Day 2: After breakfast, proceed to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enter Serengeti Park for game drives. Later in the evening, spend the night at the camp in the central park (Seronera).
Day 3: Early game drive in Serengeti Park and later drive to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for overnight.
Day 4: Have an early breakfast and descend to the crater floor for a game drive. Later drive back to Arusha/Moshi.
OPTION TWO: Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Start early from Arusha or Moshi to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro area. Game drive en route. Normally, this drive takes 6-7 hours to reach Serengeti National Park. Later in the evening, spend the night at the camp/lodge in central Serengeti.
Day 2: Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Early game drive in Serengeti Park and later in the afternoon drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 4: Have an early breakfast with a picnic lunch. Descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive. 5-6 hours are enough to visit the whole crater floor. Later in the afternoon, drive out of the crater and proceed to Arusha or Moshi.
NB: Descending in Ngorongoro is normally per trip, not for 24 hours like in other national parks when you are staying inside the park.
OPTION THREE: Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara Park, Tarangire Park, and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Start in the morning at Arusha National Park for a game drive and walking safari (the walk can take 2-4 hours). Later in the evening, spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 2: Drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The walk in this park is also possible on request. After spending a nice day in this park, spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the day watching animals and later in the evening drive to the camp/lodge overnight.
Day 4: Visit Lake Manyara National Park and later drive to Arusha or Moshi.
