5 Days / 4 Night Safari
OPTION ONE: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Start from Arusha or Moshi to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Later in the evening, drive to the camp/lodge.
Day 2: After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. In the evening, spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Proceed to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro area with a game drive en route to central Serengeti (Seronera) for an overnight stay at the camp/lodge.
Day 4: Early morning game drive in the Serengeti, followed by an afternoon drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight.
Day 5: Have an early breakfast at the camp/lodge and descend to the crater floor for a game drive. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
OPTION TWO: Tarangire/Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Start the safari from Arusha or Moshi to visit Tarangire or Lake Manyara. The choice of visiting Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park depends on the time; Tarangire is better from July to October when it is dry. Lake Manyara can be visited throughout the year.
Day 2: After breakfast at the camp/lodge, drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro. Normally, this day includes a game drive while driving to the central Serengeti. Later in the evening, spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Full day game drive in Serengeti. This day will give you more chances to explore a wide range of the Serengeti National Park, one of the largest parks in Africa. After a great day in the park, spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 4: Early morning game drive in the Serengeti, return to the camp/lodge for breakfast, and later drive to Ngorongoro with a game drive en route. Spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 5: Descend to the crater floor for a game drive. Around noon, drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
OPTION THREE: Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Lake Natron
Day 1: Drive early from Arusha or Moshi to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Spend the night on the rim of the crater.
Day 2: After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park for a game drive. Spend the night in the central park camp/lodge.
Day 3: Full day in the Serengeti for a game drive and spend the night at the camp/lodge.
Day 4: Have an early breakfast and drive to Lake Natron/Oldonyo Lengai Mountain, with a game drive en route to Engaresero area for an overnight camp/lodge stay. This drive will give you a chance to explore the Northern Serengeti while driving to Lake Natron and Oldonyo Lengai Mountain.
Day 5: Visit Lake Natron, which is the breeding site of flamingoes. Later, drive back to Arusha or Moshi. The drive may take 6-7 hours.
