2 Days / 1 Night Safari

OPTION ONE

Day 1: Visit Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park and later in the evening spend a night at the campsite or lodge.

Day 2: Have an early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is a unique place, formed after the collapse of a huge mountain due to an eruption believed to have happened 2½-3 million years ago. This huge caldera is now home to thousands of wild animals such as wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, buffalos, hippos, hyenas, lions, elephants, warthogs, and black rhinos. Later in the afternoon, drive out of the crater and proceed to Arusha or Moshi for the end of the tour.

NB: Tarangire National Park is good to visit from June to November.

OPTION TWO

Day 1: Visit Lake Manyara National Park. On this day, you will have a chance to spot wild animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, monkeys, different types of antelopes (especially impalas, bushbucks, and dik-diks), and various species of water birds, especially flamingoes. If you’re lucky, you might spot lions, which in this park, often prefer to climb trees. Later in the evening, spend the night at the allocated camp or lodge.

Day 2: After breakfast, leave for Tarangire National Park for a game drive. This park is very famous for its large number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, various types of antelopes, buffalos, and cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. In the afternoon, drive to Arusha or Moshi.
