This locally-owned safari company, based in Arusha, Tanzania, was founded by Benedicto Benjamini (Ben), who has over 20 years of experience as a safari guide. Ben is passionate about sharing his vast knowledge and love for the wilderness with nature enthusiasts.

Also we offers a variety of safaris and tours, including photographic safaris, mountain climbing expeditions to Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, hiking and walking safaris, beach holidays, and cultural tours. The company tailors its services to meet clients’ specific requests, catering to joining groups, honeymooners, photographers, and private groups.

BUHAYA TREKKING SAFARIS provides budget camping safaris, mid-range safaris, and upper-range safaris:

  • Budget Camping Safaris: Guests camp at public campsites, either inside or outside the parks. The company supplies all necessary camping gear, such as tents, mattresses, sleeping bags, chairs, and tables.
  • Mid-Range Safaris: Clients stay in semi-lodges and self-contained tents, which are spacious enough to accommodate couples and families.
  • Upper Range Safaris: These luxury lodges and tents, typically located near the parks, offer four and five-star accommodations.

Day Trips: From Arusha or Moshi, guests can embark on day trips to Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater. Travel times from Arusha to Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park are approximately 2-2.5 hours, and about 3-3.5 hours to Ngorongoro Crater. Early morning departures are recommended to maximize time spent in the parks.
