Uluguru Mountains
Overview
The Uluguru Mountains rise steeply behind Morogoro and are home to the Luguru people and a swathe of Eastern Arc forest. Our hikes climb to the Choma Waterfalls, the colonial-era Morning Side viewpoint and Bondwa Peak, with overnight stays in the mountains before continuing to Mikumi for safari. It is the easiest mountain escape to combine with the southern circuit, reached from Zanzibar by ferry and SGR train.
